CASS BREWER

PRESIDENT

Third-generation Texas builder and entrepreneur with a passion for exceptional communities and innovative design.

Cass Brewer is proud to carry on the legacy of quality building and craftsmanship passed down by his father, and grandfather. A born entrepreneur who has been launching and managing businesses since age 13, Cass brings decades of construction and development expertise to his role as President of Legacy MCS, where he leads the company’s focus on high-quality Build-to-Rent and Multi-Family communities across Texas.

Cass launched his career by building expert teams for prominent developers of Multi-Family projects. He then had the opportunity to build a team for Centex Destination Properties focused on resort master-planned communities across the central United States, where he served as Vice President of the Texas Division. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish the Legacy Brand companies in 2008, which developed into a vertically integrated team encompassing development, construction, and design.

In 2015, Cass partnered with his father Charles Brewer and late brother Andrew Brewer to form Legacy MCS, focusing on high-quality construction management and exceptional client service. Known for his ability to foster amazing teams with a focus on great craftsmanship and design, Cass has led Legacy MCS to become a recognized leader in award-winning communities, with over 2,000 Build-to-Rent units completed or in development since 2016.

Throughout his career, Cass has worked for Fortune 100 corporations, managed projects for C.F. Jordan, Inc., and gained diverse experience in home building, renovations, and Multi-Family construction—giving him unique insight into the most efficient means of completing projects. His passion for sustainable building practices and innovative design concepts has been recognized throughout the state. Cass holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University and is a Certified Energy Star Builder committed to high-quality green building practices.

GREGORY COLE

VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION

Greg is a seasoned construction executive who has been driving excellence in the industry since 2004. After earning his degree from Texas A&M University, Greg launched his career with Pulte Homes in San Antonio, where he quickly made a mark in the Single-Family residential sector. His strong leadership skills and attention to detail laid the groundwork for a transition to Multi-Family development, where he joined Greystar and managed projects across the dynamic Austin and Houston markets.

Over the years, Greg has led the successful delivery of a wide range of Multi-Family developments, from garden-style apartment complexes to mid-rise and mixed-use urban properties. His deep technical knowledge and operational oversight have been instrumental in bringing high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results to every project under his direction.

Greg’s rise through the ranks—from Assistant Superintendent to Senior Project Manager and now to a leadership position at Legacy MCS—is a reflection of his commitment to innovation, team development, and strategic execution. As a leader at Legacy MCS, Greg sets the vision for project teams, cultivates strong partnerships across the industry, and ensures that every build aligns with the company’s standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Complementing his construction expertise, Greg holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University. This unique combination of field experience and financial acumen allows him to lead with both precision and perspective—balancing construction goals with longterm business strategy.

CHARLES BREWER

FOUNDER & SENIOR ADVISOR

With a storied career spanning decades in residential construction, Charles Brewer has played a foundational role in shaping communities across Texas and the Southeastern United States. Known for his unwavering standards and deep industry expertise, Charles has built a reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and leadership in every market he’s touched.

As the father of Cass and the late Andrew Brewer, Charles is proud to see the next generation carrying forward the family’s legacy of excellence in construction. He is part of a respected lineage of builders that includes his brother Tom and nephew Chad Brewer—together forming a powerful network of insight, skill, and influence that has helped navigate the evolving challenges of contracting, development, and construction with professionalism and pride.

Today, as Senior Advisor at Legacy MCS, Charles continues to offer his deep well of knowledge, mentoring the leadership team and guiding the company with the same values that have defined his career—hard work, high standards, and an enduring commitment to building with integrity.

Our story is rooted in three generations of Texas builders, where craftsmanship runs deep and the values passed down from father to sons continue to shape the way we build today. This legacy begins with Charles Brewer, whose decades of leadership and commitment to quality laid the foundation for something greater than just buildings. It was carried forward by his sons, Cass and Andy, whose shared vision and drive helped grow Legacy MCS into the respected construction firm it is today.

Andy Brewer’s mark on this company—and on the Texas skylines he helped shape—is indelible.

Andy dedicated his career to multi-family construction, developing deep expertise and an unwavering reputation for precision, professionalism, and heart. Working side-by-side with his brother Cass and their father Charles, Andy helped define the operational excellence that has become the standard at Legacy MCS. From project planning to final walkthroughs, he brought integrity, grit, and an unmatched attention to detail to every step of the process.

Beyond the job sites, Andy was a hands-on builder in every sense. On weekends, you’d find him flipping houses with Cass, always with a sharp eye, a practical mind, and a passion for getting the work just right. He didn’t just build structures—he built trust, relationships, and a team culture that still defines how we operate today.

Andy’s legacy lives in every beam, every nail, every milestone we hit. His fingerprints are on hundreds of buildings across the state—and on every project we take on moving forward.

He was more than a builder. He was the heartbeat of our operations, the kind of leader who showed up early, stayed late, and never let up on what mattered most: doing it right. His thoughtful approach to preconstruction services, his depth of knowledge, and his unwavering standards helped shape Legacy MCS into the go-to contractor for high-quality Build-to-Rent and multi-family projects across Texas.
